Let's zoom in - we more than doubled the size of our tent?
For?
Oh yeah, him.
Our little man. (And the pack and play, which was nice in terms of containment, but not so good in the cold, what with all that open air underneath). Now researching/craigslist searching for alternative travelbeds. We'll see.
But, regardless, I have to say, he was a champ (fingers crossed it stays this way). Slept better the first night than he has at home (Ray credits the river). We had a a great nap while Ray was out kayaking (his weekend, this time -perhaps video of that, later). Those are the pictures above. The second night, it was COLD. Really. Cold. So he ended up curled up with me and still slept pretty well (I woke up every thirty minutes anyway, but whatever). Of course, this was followed by a super-hot day, and I learned that one person cannot break down the mega tent and keep the infant happy in the heat. Fortunately, friends took Eamon for a bit while I got everything packed. (Eamon was not lacking willing babysitters among the paddler ladies.)
Eamon: HELP! The bags, they are attacking!
UPDATED TO ADD:
While I was posting, Eamon and Ray were checking out Craigslist for his bed.
And then, this....
Darn. We're in trouble.
