Balloons are a common sight at our house, but this was a particularly awesome day. We got to watch this one get disassembled from our house!
We took the boys on a walk along the creek by our old townhome (although we started at the other, uphill end of the trail). E enjoyed poohsticks, playing in the low water, building cairns and, of course, throwing rocks.Ray tried geocaching with what was apparently the best-hidden geocache ever. In other words, no, we could not find it.
We went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, which was mostly a well-recieved trip, although E did not like the Imax (a seal bumped the camera and freaked him out, which means I got to skip a fairly depressing documentary on the polar ice) and a few of the dinosaurs and their relatives were a bit much, but he loved watching the people work on Snowmastodon - live paleontology for the win!
E and I took a bike ride to old town, which brought us a new playground. I strongly recommend letting your superhero try out the equipment.
Have I mentioned how much fun we've gotten out of a repurposed tee shirt? Probably my best crafting project ever.
Swim lessons continued, although E essentially got private lessons because he was the only one in his class. Successful backfloat! (For a few seconds, any way.)
E loves having his feet in the hot tub, can you tell?
And T was just exhausted by all of us. Or in a milk coma, one or the other.
love love love!
